On January 15, 1965, the club acquired Wilt Chamberlain from the San Francisco Warriors for three players and cash. The Sixers began to make history! By July of 1968, the Sixers had won an NBA championship(1966-67) and traded Wilt to the Lakers for three player and no cash! In 1960, Laker owner Bob Short decided to take his club to LA where the Dodgers and Rams had struck it rich.
